Calcium Optogenetic Imaging
  • Supports functional assessments at the cellular and systems level, including human IPSC generation, directed differentiation of neurons and glial cells, three-dimensional organoid culture modeling, single and multi-channel electrophysiology, to examine mechanisms underlying IDDs.
  • In collaboration with the Structural and Functional Visualization Core, provides infrastructure and expertise for state-of-the-art optogenetic imaging in vitro and in vivo.
  • In collaboration with the Clinical Translational Core, contributes to the translational mission of the IDDRC by creating complex cellular physiology and animal behavioral assays relevant across species for therapeutic discovery and pre-clinical testing.
